The Royal Family Guarantee
“This guarantee exists for one reason: to give dogs the
best possible life and you, the families— peace of mind.” Anahata Graceland
Genetic Health & Lifetime Placement Assurance
At Royal Frenchel, we stand behind our dogs — not just at placement, but for life.  While genetically inherited, life-threatening conditions are extremely rare within Royal Frenchel lines, we believe families deserve peace of mind and clear support should the unexpected occur.
Our Commitment
If a Royal Frenchel is diagnosed with a life-threatening, genetically inherited condition, verified by a licensed veterinarian and confirmed by Royal Frenchel’s veterinary team, we will honor the following:  - The family will receive a replacement Royal Frenchel of equal value, provided as a credit toward:  - Another Royal Frenchel of equal value, or  - Any Royal Frenchel of higher value, with the family paying the difference  This credit may be applied toward any dog of the family’s choosing within the Royal Frenchel program.
Timing & Verification
- The condition must be identified and confirmed by 18 months of age  - Diagnosis must be:  Documented by the family’s veterinarian, and Reviewed and confirmed by Royal Frenchel’s veterinary partners  - This assurance applies only to genetically inherited, life-threatening conditions, not those caused by injury, environment, nutrition, or care practices outside breeder guidance or control.
Family-Centered Flexibility
If the family chooses to keep their original dog and welcome a new Royal Frenchel as well, we fully support that decision.  Our priority is the well-being of both the dog and the family, emotionally and practically.
Scope of Assurance
This assurance is limited to placement credit toward another Royal Frenchel and does not include cash refunds, reimbursement of veterinary expenses, or compensation beyond the credit described herein.
A Record We’re Proud Of
In over 25 years of Royal Frenchel breeding, with thousands of dogs placed, only four dogs have ever required replacement under this assurance. That record reflects the care, research, and intentional breeding behind every Royal Frenchel and why this guarantee exists not out of concern, but out of integrity.
Our Philosophy
This assurance is not offered because we expect problems. It is offered because we take responsibility.  Royal Frenchels are bred for longevity, stability, and health. And when families choose a Royal Frenchel, they are choosing a program that stands behind its dogs with confidence and care.
Participation Agreement
At Royal Frenchel, our goal is to create lifelong success for both the dog and the family. This guarantee exists to support right action on both sides — breeder and buyer — so every Royal Frenchel has the best possible outcome.  Royal Frenchels are intentionally bred, raised, and supported as part of a complete care system. This guarantee applies only when that system is followed.
Perfect Match Guarantee
We commit to guiding each family toward a Royal Frenchel that fits their lifestyle, temperament preferences, and household needs.  This guarantee is based on honest communication from the buyer regarding:  - Living environment  - Travel and activity level  - Prior dog experience  - Expectations for companionship  Matching is a collaborative process and relies on accurate information from both parties.
Clarification on Natural Variation
While Royal Frenchel takes great care in matching temperament, energy level, and lifestyle compatibility, the breeder cannot guarantee adult size, coat color, coat texture, eye color, or specific behavioral traits, as these may naturally evolve as the dog matures.  This clarification does not diminish the intent of the Perfect Match Guarantee, but reflects the natural variability present in all living beings.

Condition of Guarantee: Required Nutrition Protocol
The Royal Family Guarantee is conditional upon the dog being fed pawTree nutrition, as outlined and recommended by the breeder.  The Royal Family Guarantee is contingent upon the dog being fed according to the Royal Frenchel Essential pawTree Nutrition Protocol as outlined in the Royal Frenchel Essential pawTree Nutrition Protocol (current version available at:

The Royal Family Guarantee is conditional upon the dog being fed pawTree nutrition, as outlined and recommended by the breeder.  The Royal Family Guarantee is contingent upon the dog being fed according to the Royal Frenchel Essential pawTree Nutrition Protocol as outlined in the Royal Frenchel Essential pawTree Nutrition Protocol (current version available at: https://pawtree.com/doglove/myrecommendation/Royal-Frenchel-Essentials).
Why is this important?
Royal Frenchels are bred for:  - Gut health stability  - Low inflammation  - Emotional regulation & attunement  - Long-term vitality - Little to No Gas  Inferior or incompatible nutrition is a known contributor to:  - Digestive and gut issues  - Inflammatory conditions  - Heart conditions  - Skin and coat problems  - Allergies  - Behavioral instability  - Reduced longevity  Because nutrition directly impacts health outcomes, Royal Frenchel cannot be responsible for conditions that arise when the required nutrition protocol is not followed.
Limitation of Breeder Guarantee
This guarantee does not apply in cases where:  PawTree nutrition is not used as outlined by the breeder  Dietary changes are made without breeder or veterinary guidance  The dog is exposed to inappropriate foods, supplements, or feeding practices  Training, care, or environmental recommendations are knowingly disregarded  In such cases, health, behavioral, or digestive issues are considered outside the breeder’s control and responsibility.
Approved Alternative Nutrition Clause
Royal Frenchel recognizes that individual circumstances may require alternative nutrition options.  Buyers may use a nutrition plan other than pawTree only if:  - The alternative food meets or exceeds the nutritional quality, ingredient integrity, and sourcing standards of the Royal Frenchel Essential pawTree Nutrition Protocol, and  - The alternative is reviewed and approved in writing by Anahata Graceland or the Royal Frenchel nutrition support team.  Written approval must be obtained prior to implementation and maintained on file.
Important Clarification
Absent written approval:  - pawTree nutrition remains the required standard  - Use of alternative foods automatically voids applicable portions of the Royal Family Guarantee  Emergency stabilization diets may be used temporarily when medically necessary, provided Royal Frenchel is notified as soon as reasonably possible.
Veterinary Care & Nutrition Integrity
Royal Frenchels are bred and raised under a nutrition-first care philosophy. Based on decades of experience and long-term research, we have found that a significant majority of common canine health and behavioral issues are created by or influenced by nutrition rather than genetics or acute illness alone. Extensive data and practical outcomes support that approximately 83% of routine dog health concerns can be improved, managed, or prevented through proper, species-appropriate nutritional care.   Because nutrition directly affects gut health, inflammation, immune response, and behavior, dietary consistency is considered a core component of the Royal Family Guarantee.
Veterinary Visits & Dietary Authority
Should a Royal Frenchel require veterinary care or hospitalization, the buyer agrees to the following:  - Dietary changes may not be made solely at the discretion of a veterinarian  unless that veterinarian is also a certified canine nutritionist, or unless nutritional changes are reviewed with the Royal Frenchel team.  - The buyer agrees not to transition the dog to canned, prescription, or “bland” diets without consultation, except in true emergency stabilization scenarios.  - In all non-emergency situations, Royal Frenchel must be contacted if a veterinarian recommends dietary changes, including:  - Prescription foods  - Canned or processed diets  - “Bland” food protocols  - Elimination or specialty diets  This allows the breeder and nutrition support team to collaborate in determining the best course of action for the dog’s long-term health.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Many veterinary hospitals sell or recommend foods produced by large commercial manufacturers that also supply veterinary practices and hospital systems. While veterinary care is essential and respected, nutritional education is not a primary focus of standard veterinary training, and dietary recommendations may not always align with long-term wellness outcomes.  For this reason, Royal Frenchel retains nutritional oversight for dogs covered under the Royal Family Guarantee.
Limitation of Responsibility
Royal Frenchel cannot be held responsible for health issues like: digestive, inflammatory, or behavioral issues that arise from:  Unauthorized dietary changes  Long-term use of commercial canned or prescription foods  Failure to consult the breeder when nutrition is altered  Such actions are considered outside the breeder’s control and void applicable portions of the Royal Family Guarantee.
Required Communication
If your Royal Frenchel:  - Is hospitalized  - Is advised to change diet  - Is prescribed “bland” food or prescription nutrition  - Experiences gut, inflammatory, or behavioral symptoms  You agree to contact Anahata Graceland or the Royal Frenchel support team promptly so we can:  - Review recommendations  - Provide nutritional alternatives where appropriate  - Support you in making the most informed decision for your dog’s care  Our goal is collaboration — not opposition — with veterinary professionals, while ensuring nutrition decisions remain aligned with what we know produces the best outcomes for Royal Frenchels. Health Reporting Timeline  Health concerns requiring veterinary evaluation must be communicated to Royal Frenchel within a reasonable timeframe, ideally within forty eight (48) hours of the initial veterinary examination, to allow timely guidance, collaboration, and support.  Failure to communicate within this timeframe may limit the breeder’s ability to assist and may affect the applicability of the Royal Family Guarantee.
Closing Principle
This policy exists to protect the dog.  When veterinary care and nutrition work together — with clear communication — Royal Frenchels thrive. When nutrition is compromised, even the best breeding cannot overcome the consequences.
Veterinary Expense Disclaimer
Royal Frenchel does not reimburse veterinary, medical, diagnostic, surgical, hospitalization, transportation, or related expenses incurred by the buyer.  All such expenses remain the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Shared Responsibility & Good Faith
This guarantee is rooted in partnership, not perfection.
Royal Frenchel Commits to:
Ethical breeding practices  Transparent communication  Ongoing support and education  Acting in the best interest of the dog and family
The Buyer Commits to:
Following outlined care and nutrition guidance  Communicating honestly and promptly if issues arise  Acting in good faith toward the dog’s health and well-being
Acknowledgment
By purchasing or reserving a Royal Frenchel, the buyer acknowledges:  Understanding of the Royal Family Guarantee terms  Agreement to the required nutrition protocol  Acceptance of shared responsibility for outcomes
Electronic Acceptance
This agreement is acknowledged and accepted electronically at the time of reservation or purchase and is considered binding without the need for a physical signature.  The buyer confirms that this agreement was made available in full prior to acceptance.  Our goal is not control — it is care. When both sides act responsibly, Royal Frenchels thrive.  The Royal Family Guarantee applies when care and nutrition guidelines are followed, including the exclusive use of PawTree nutrition as outlined by the breeder.
