Our Royal Frenchels are our best friends. Stormy who is six and Cooper who is eight. We had no idea what we were getting into bringing them home because they are truly our biggest companions. I used to work in a nursing home and would bring them both with me, and they loved sitting on beds with patients or walking alongside them during physical therapy. What's incredible is that I didn't have them certified as therapy dogs - they just instantly knew what people needed, which is what made us fall in love with them so much. They know when we're sick, when our kids are sad, and they greet us every day and come to bed with us every night. They're probably the quickest dogs to adapt to you as a family, great with kids, never bite, and are interested in our family being okay.
What sets Royal Frenchels apart is their intuitive emotional intelligence. When our teen daughters are having a bad day or crying in their rooms, these dogs will scratch at their doors even when we don't know the girls are upset - they just know and go cuddle with them. When I had surgery, they didn't leave my side the entire time, and now with my husband being sick, they're the same way with him. They match your energy without being trained to do it - extremely playful when it's time to play, but huge snugglers when you need comfort. They've been extremely healthy with no breathing issues, structural problems, or food allergies that French Bulldogs are known for. They're perfect for travel - completely quiet during 5-10 hour car trips with no whining, crying, or accidents. There's no way to put a value on what we have here - they're literally our children and worth every penny. We will never be without a Royal Frenchel in our home because they've enriched every aspect of our quality of life immeasurably.

My beautiful son Angelo is my second Royal Frenchel who I love more than words can say. Royal Frenchels are such incredible dogs - I can't say I've met any other breed that is as intuitive, loving, easy to care for, easy to travel with, and just such a joy to be around. Everyone Angelo meets feels the same way because he literally stops traffic and people come out of their houses on our daily walks asking what kind of dog he is. What makes Angelo truly unique is that he sings! Being musicians, my partner and I always have music going, and Angelo has picked up something from us - his favorite instrument is his rubber chicken, and whenever I squeeze it, he sings along with it. He even plays tambourine and joins us when we play our electronic drums. It's incredible and brings so much joy.
Angelo learned incredibly quickly how to go outside using bells on the door, and I was amazed at how little puppy-proofing I needed to do. When he did something he wasn't supposed to and I told him no, he didn't do it again - he just knows and lives the way I want him to live. We love traveling with Angelo, and he's been perfect on unexpected road trips and flights, sitting on our laps during long drives and doing great on airplanes. He goes with me everywhere - to brunch, to stores, and I've even held him during hour-long podcast recordings where he just sits calmly. I've had to do very little work to get him to be the perfect companion because giving him the attention he deserves has made him comfortable and content. There's no mischievous behavior, no chewing cables or digging through garbage - he just doesn't do it. Angelo is truly a little angel who has brought pure joy to our lives.

Having my Royal Frenchel Wilbur has changed my life in every way – he truly is the light of my life. Growing up with Royal Frenchels in my family, I knew there was no other breed I wanted when I was ready for my own dog. What makes Royal Frenchels truly special is their perfect balance – they combine the fun, spunky personality of a French Bulldog with the calm, adaptable temperament that makes them ideal companions. Wilbur seamlessly matches my lifestyle, whether I'm working from home (where he quietly sits under my desk all day), dining out at restaurants (where he's so well-behaved that people don't even notice he's there), or traveling across the country with my boyfriend.
The practical benefits of owning a Royal Frenchel are undeniable. Unlike many small dogs, Wilbur doesn't shed, rarely needs grooming, and was incredibly easy to house train with zero accidents. His travel-friendly size means my boyfriend and I can bring him everywhere – from cross-country flights to weddings – without the boarding costs and lifestyle restrictions that come with larger breeds. "I haven't had to change my lifestyle because of him," and while friends with bigger dogs often struggle with travel and accommodation limitations, we simply bring Wilbur along. With four Royal Frenchels in my extended family, I can confirm this isn't just one exceptional dog – it's the consistent, remarkable temperament that makes every Royal Frenchel "truly just such a perfect dog."

At just under 3 months old, she traveled a 15-hour travel day from the United States to Costa Rica and was an absolute dream - she did better than I did! Not a peep, cry, whimper, or accident during the entire journey including two flights and a 3½ hour layover. This whole notion of having a companion that can not only offer so much love and joy in the home but also be on the go and travel with you is just amazing and really special. I can't believe how easy she is to train - she learns a new trick every day, and I've never taught a dog to sit in just two treats. She now knows sit, stay, shake, down, mat, come, and walks on a leash without pulling at only three months old.
What sets Royal Frenchels apart from all the dogs I've had in my life is how beautifully they want to please you and be with you in the most loving way I've ever experienced. Reine's intelligence is incredible - she loves learning and lives for training sessions. When I say "mat," she literally runs over and sits on it, waiting for praise and treats. She'll stay there for up to 10 minutes even if I turn my back. The emotional intelligence is remarkable too - when I was upset once, she was right on it, knowing I needed comfort. She was a dream to potty train even in 9-degree snowy Utah weather, and after just one night of getting up once, she's been sleeping through the night for eight hours with no accidents. She just wants to be where I am, sitting on my lap during work or 45-minute podcast recordings. This is the best money you will ever spend - these dogs are perfect service dogs and travel companions, and I'm completely madly in love.

About 10 years ago I discovered Royal Frenchels after owning Boston Terriers that had too much energy as I got older. I was looking for a French bulldog with companionship, snuggliness, and trainability without constantly worrying about health problems. When I picked up Trinity at less than 6 weeks old, she was already so attentive to me personally, wanting to gaze right at me - I'd never met puppies like that. She was incredibly easy to train with just consistency, and became my perfect studio dog. She learned on her own that when my fitness classes started, she'd go lie in her kennel, and when I said "deep breath out and go have a wonderful day," she'd jet out to love on everyone. I never taught her that - she just figured it out with her incredible intelligence.
When I became very ill for over four months and could hardly get out of bed, Trinity stayed with me the entire time, never bothering me but needing to be right next to me. Now with my husband's extended illness, she's the same way with him - incredibly intuitive about when she's needed. I have to say this honestly: I could not have gotten through the last 5 years without this dog. As a farm girl who was never a dog person but a horse person, if I had to lose everything in life, I would keep my kids, grandkids, and this dog - that's it. She's had no real health issues, no breathing or joint problems, jumps off tall beds, climbs furniture, loves walks and chasing bunnies. She's everyone's best friend with other dogs, teaching anxious dogs how to play and be gentle. Trinity is pristine, holds up her paws to be wiped and clipped, and no one has ever met her who doesn't love her.

We live in New York City. Out of all the dogs I've ever had, this is literally the easiest dog in the world - it's absurd how easy she is. She doesn't shed much, has no real health issues, and is incredibly low maintenance. What sets Royal Frenchels apart is their quiet confidence - they're not needy or territorial, they just want to be with you. They'll sit next to you for hours, play if you want them to play, but they also have personality and might say "I don't feel like playing right now." They read your body language perfectly and are very attentive to your needs.
Living in a 1700 square foot NYC apartment, we couldn't have picked better - she's perfect for city life. While my friend in Brooklyn has to walk his dog at 5:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and do heavy lifting with a high-maintenance working breed, Millie requires none of that. She's not a barker, makes a little whiny sound when she needs something, and doesn't require late-night street walks. She never chewed anything - not a shoe, not furniture, nothing. At almost 10 years old, she still looks and acts like a puppy with no signs of aging. She's a major destressor who lowers my stress level by two or three notches, providing constant comfort and unconditional love. She doesn't even smell like a dog - she has a newborn baby smell her whole life. You would never walk into our house and know we have a dog.

We've had our Royal Frenchel Rex for over 13 years - he's been an absolute joy and the love of our lives. Rex was the easiest, most wonderful dog to bring into our family, incredibly simple to train and fast to understand everything. He travels with us everywhere, flying on planes constantly, and everywhere we go people enjoy having him around because he's such a pleasure to be with. His intelligence is remarkable - there was a time I was trying to get him to put his head through a Christmas wreath for a photo, and after struggling for a while, I simply explained what we were doing and he immediately complied. He's brilliant, intuitive, and has been the joy of our lives every step of the way.
What sets Rex apart is his incredible travel abilities and social intelligence. He jumps right into his travel bag, turns around and lays down - people sitting next to us on planes don't even know there's been a dog there the whole time because he's so quiet and well-behaved. He reads every situation perfectly, knowing which dogs to give space to and which ones are friendly. He's the fastest dog at the dog park but also the best snuggler in the world. Rex has made us more active, he's athletic enough to jump five feet and swim in the ocean, yet he's so well-trained that you could put a steak in front of him and he wouldn't touch it unless given permission. We've had other dogs before, but there's nothing like Rex - he touches your heart in a spiritual way. That's why we're adding Teddy to our family, because we want to replicate that incredible Royal Frenchel experience.

We've been Royal Frenchel parents for about 12 years. Coming from a background of having black labs and golden retrievers - the big dogs that hug you back when you hug them - we discovered that Royal Frenchels have something truly special that's hard to put your finger on until you experience it. They're super smart, incredibly intuitive, and the bond that results is like no other breed we've ever lived with. Our long-haired Royal Frenchel, Little Bear, is a showstopper at the dog park - everyone wants to know more about him, thinking he's mixed with a Papillon, but he's a purebred Royal Frenchel with all that attitude and prince-like demeanor.
What amazes us most is their intelligence and house training abilities. Little Bear came to us at eight weeks old and has never had one mistake in the house - not one. He learned by watching our other dogs and simply figured out where the doors were within a day or two. These dogs don't compete with each other like other breeds; they love and care for each other as much as they care for us. It's like an extension of having children - they're truly part of the family like no other dog we've had. When we're away from them, we feel it in our hearts, and almost every day we think about how our lives would be different without waking up next to these guys. They lower our stress levels, and we believe they're going to help us live to 100 because of the uncompromising love, affection, and loyalty they provide. They would be a value at twice the price.

If you'd told me I'd have a small dog, I would have laughed - but this 5-pound boy has completely changed my perspective. We take him everywhere because of his incredible demeanor, calmness, and ability to be the perfect travel companion. After transitioning out of the military and with my wife being a stage four cancer survivor, John Wick (our first of 4 Royals) has been a blessing on our healing journey. He's emotionally intelligent - when you're upset or feeling bad, he knows it, sits on your chest, and calms you down with just a look and a lick.
The intelligence of these dogs is remarkable. He sleeps in our bed and politely wakes us if he needs to go out at night, then returns to sleep peacefully. He doesn't bark, doesn't mark, doesn't need a leash, and knows to stay out of the street. Everyone we meet treats him like a celebrity, asking what breed he is and where we got him. The Royal Frenchel program was incredibly professional, walking us through everything from selecting the right dog to proper diet and training. This has been the best investment we've ever made - John Wick has brought us more joy and healing than we ever imagined possible.

Me and my daughter Tula absolutely adore our Royal Frenchel, Parker. She is the snuggliest, most cozy dog - when you walk into your house and want to grab your comfy blanket to lay on the couch, it's like you want to grab Parker and snuggle up because she's just that sweet and wonderful. What's amazing about Parker is her ability to read our family's energy perfectly. Although she looks like she would be sleepy all the time, she perks up for tricks and play when it's time to be active, but she's also incredibly appropriate - if it's chill time, she's chill, and if we want to play, she's ready to play. She's really smart and sensitive to what's going on in our family life, and Tula has taught her an impressive 28 different tricks.
Parker has become Tula's true best friend and sleeps with her every night, sometimes even going to sleepovers because all of our friends love her too. She's welcome at everybody's house because she wins everyone over with her kind nature and calm demeanor. We take her everywhere - to restaurants where she'll just lay under our chair or on our lap without bothering anyone, and she's totally calm in the car. Even other dogs that don't typically get along with other dogs love Parker because she doesn't give off any stress or aggression. If a dog comes at her aggressively, she just turns away and sits down, showing remarkable intelligence and peaceful nature. She's super low-maintenance, doesn't chew furniture, has no smell, and is really clean. Parker truly loves anything you want to do with her, making her the perfect companion for our family.

My gorgeous Royal Frenchel Morty has completely transformed my life in ways I never could have imagined. I now think of my life as pre and post Morty because he brings me so much daily happiness that it's hard to quantify. What makes Royal Frenchels truly special is their incredible intelligence and emotional connection with their owners. Morty learned the names of all his toys and can fetch specific ones on command, showing a vocabulary comprehension that amazed me. He's also incredibly attuned to my emotions - when I'm having an off day or feeling sad, he senses it immediately and becomes extra loving and affectionate. This emotional intelligence, combined with his playfulness and unique personality, sets Royal Frenchels apart from other dogs.
Beyond his intelligence, Morty has exceeded every expectation I had when looking for an affectionate travel companion. He's been to St. Barts twice, Italy, Amsterdam, Miami, and Napa, never having an accident in hotels and adapting beautifully to new environments. His potty training took less than a week using Ana's method, and he's so well-behaved that he doesn't need a leash and knows to stay out of the street. People constantly stop us because he's so adorable, and even my contractor, who's had dogs his whole life, says Morty is different and special. I know Royal Frenchels are expensive, but this has been the best investment my husband and I have ever made - the joy and pleasure Morty brings to our family is absolutely priceless. He even smells like a baked good, which strangers comment on! These dogs truly are remarkable companions.

I have spent the last 43 years in the professional baseball industry as a player, coach, manager, scout and executive. I am currently a Special Assistant to the General Manager for the Cincinnati Reds. Several months ago, our family lost our furry friends, Archie and Banjo. Their passing has been emotionally painful.
Fortunately, weeks later, we were blessed with the addition of our newest family member, Royal Frenchel Perry. This little guy has helped to fill the hole in our hearts. Perry is a lot of things, and all of them are great! He is smart, playful, funny, and insightful. He has great instincts, and he has been easy to train. I have been on cholesterol medication for decades, and I feel like I don’t need it when I’m around Perry. I’ve also had numerous surgeries from playing baseball, and my physical discomfort routinely lessens when I’m with him.
If you are a dog lover, and are looking to acquire a new family member, I can think of no better choice than to acquire a Royal Frenchel from Arturo and Anahata. They are wonderful human beings and amazing breeders who have brought joy to Royal Frenchel owners around the United States. If I can be of assistance to anyone looking to purchase a Royal Frenchel, please feel free to contact me.

We are aware of all the nightmares new dog owners have with their dogs. Not our Frankie! No whining, no excessive barking, no separation anxiety, no biting, no chewing on furniture or clothing, no food obsession, no wanting to get up at 6:30 every morning to do her business (she’s happy to stay in bed with us till noon!), no running away (she won’t let us leave her sight), no dog or people aggression, no tooting or snoring, no accidents in the house (now she pees and poops on command!), and finally, she’s the most affectionate dog we’ve ever had. And of course, unbelievably cute. And what about those ears!?
Our children are grown and gone. With Frankie in our lives we’ve become a family again. She’s the best thing we could have imagined for us at this stage in our lives. She knows all the basic commands and now we’re planning to enroll her in agility training and get her certified as a therapy dog so we can share her with others at nursing homes and hospitals. We’ve had champion show dogs in the past, but she’s by far the best dog we’ve ever owned. She’s enriched our lives beyond imagination. Everything you’ve said about your dogs is true.

There were about 10 of us in the room. Wesley was incredible. I kept him on the lead as it was the first time he’d been in a meeting, but he’d have been just as good without it. In a 4hr meeting with just a 10 min break his manners were impeccable. The only time anyone heard him was when he fell into a deep sleep and started to snore

Sylvie(Venus) has brought the deepest joy and love to my heart, our family, friends and all whom she meets. She is exactly how you personified her and Venus was the most accurate name for her Goddess of Love! She lives to Love and does it with all of her soul and being! I can hardly get going on walks because she makes it her job to say hi to everyone and let them know she sees them and loves them! She remembers every neighbor she meets and wants to stop at each door as we go past! She has not had one second where she has not been loved or been loving! She has lit up our clinic and greets every patient! Most of them want to come on the days she is there~! She has already traveled with us and is a dream! I just could not say enough about her or Royal Frenchels for that matter!

Gigi Minerva is simply amazing. She is pure love. So sweet and everyone in the house adores her. Her playful side, she loves her toys. Is kind of a hoarder in that she likes them all gathered and then lays on them while chewing or snuggling with one. She is a speed racer when it’s free time around the house. You can tell when she is smiling Her gentle side: She knows when I’m struggling and wants to be in my arms. Of course that provides a huge sense of calm to me and we both just chill. She loves to be pet and snuggled… She snores & You can tell when she smiles!

I am not even sure that I can put into words how much I love Beazley. It’s as if we were always meant to be together and I already fear the day when we will have to part due to the inevitable. I’m making a very conscious effort to cherish each and every moment we have together and am even trying to figure out a way to transition into a different line of work so we can spend more time together each and every day!
