WHAT A LOCAL VETERINARIAN SAYS ABOUT ROYAL FRENCHELS!
Royal
Frenchel Veterinarians don’t get to see our dogs too often because they
are so healthy, but here’s what PaulaSommerville from Companion Veterinary
Hospital in Lacey has to say about Royal Frenchels. “ Royal Frenchels
are a great breed for people who want a small friendly companion dog with a
great demeanor and no major health challenges compared to French Bulldogs ,
English Bulldogs, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I really like that they
do not require C sections when giving birth…That is really great! I also
appreciate that their breathing is not labored and that their ears are not prone
to infection. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are prone to heart disease at 3
to 4 years old and it appears that Royal Frenchels are a success in improving
this condition. Overall, I think that Royal Frenchels are a great friendly easy
dogs to work with! “

"From Day
1, our dog Choco has been just about as perfect a dog any owner could dream
of. Potty trained in less than a week, playful and rambunctious, but also the
best cuddler of them all. Everywhere we go, people are always curious about
him and love him. He’s like a brother to my 8-year old son and we take him everywhere
and he loves it. You can tell by his disposition that the staff and families
take great care in crafting a beautiful and intriguing breed. We look forward
to adding to our family one day!"

"Oh how wonderful she is... full of personality and zest for life with a huge heart.
I can’t believe how smart she is, much more like a cat in many respects, always
observing and watching over everything and everyone. We have horses next door
and her favorite thing to do these days is to run up and down the fence line
"visiting" with them. She and our older dog get along well, although at 12,
he doesn’t have nearly the energy Eleanor has. I like to say I’m the Queen and
she is definitely the little Princess!
Everyone who meets her is absolutely enchanted. She loves keeping an eye on everyone in the office and they of
course love her in return. She often provides much needed comic relief. What I love most about Eleanor though is
that no matter how much fun she is having, she will drop everything for a good warm snuggle, whether that’s on a lap
or a quick hug just because I need one. She has my husband wrapped around "her little finger." Every evening they
watch the news together (I swear she watches too) and Eleanor is in his lap."

I
just adore my royal frenchel Peppercorn. First of all, she is a gorgeous brindle
with just about the cutest ears I have ever seen on a dog. Everywhere I go I
hear people commenting on how cute she is and always mentioning her ears.
There are two things about peppercorn that make her such an ideal dog for me. The first is that I am a music
teacher and a performer and from day one she accompanied me to all of my music lessons. She was immediately well
behaved in the lessons – quiet and calm. Nearly every student commented on how well behaved she was (and this was
when she was still just five months.) She has never even barked at a student but instead greets every person with
excitement and love and adds a sweetness to the lessons. Everyone loves having her around.
The
second reason is that she is gets along wonderfully with our Labrador retriever
Xander.
Although peppercorn is one fourth the size of Xander, she is totally comfortable
and confident around him and they are now best friends.
Peppercorns even temper and loving nature is exactly what I was looking for in a dog. I am so glad to have her in my
life. Thank you Royal Frenchels!

"Snow continues
to be the most wonderful addition to our family and quite the peaceful companion.
Everywhere we go people remark on his temperament and always ask what kind of
breed he is."

"We love Ollie so much. He is such a character. He is cuddly and sweet, playful and silly. You were right, he
constantly follows me around, so much we have a no Ollie in the kitchen while I am cooking rule-I almost dropped hot
things on him while tripping over him only a couple of times before making that rule. He only really leaves my side to
hang out with his "grandma sisters" the labradors. He is an outgoing little guy-all the neighbors know him and are
happy to see him. He loves people and kids-he LOVES my niece! She is the only one he ditches me for. He follows
her around constantly!"

"Rudy is the
most amazing boy that I have ever seen, he is an amazing and gorgeous boy! And
so incredibly smart!"

"I can’t believe it’s been a whole week. Sunshine and I have been very busy. She
is coming with me most everywhere. I have decided that her full name will be
Sunshine Honey Bun, because I started calling her my little Honey Bun which
came from my love of musicals and specifically South Pacific where there is
a very funny dance routine where they sing about their Honey Bun. Everyone loves
her. I love her so much. She brings me so much joy. I can’t imagine a better
fit or a better puppy for me."

"Can’t tell you how many people stop to ask about Fletcher. He is absolutely so much fun, easy, and very responsive
to training. Wanted to thank you again. Didn’t realize the cost and effort of a dog but every bit worth it. Took Fletcher
to puppy classes for 3 weeks and now on to basic training – he is well on his way learning some of the basic commands.
A little finicky but he is so much fun!
I have had hundreds (maybe more) asking about his breed and where I got him."

"We are
so loving our new little puppy formally known as "Spot." We renamed him "Wilbur"
and I think he already knows his new name! I’m really getting attached to this
little guy too and don’t know how I will take it when my daughter moves out
of my home down the line. Our friends, neighbors and family think "Wilbur" is
adorable and our veterinarian was also interested in the breed. Thanks so much
for a wonderful pet. You’re sure doing some good work with your breed!"
