Primary Family Breeding™ is a breeding program which unites families and individual dogs to live in intimately bonded environments where the dog is raised as a family member. Dog owners go through training, learn to whelp puppies and many other aspects of their dog’s care as we mentor and assist in breeding the dogs for quality results.

Primary Family Breeding™ Means That Dogs Live in Families within a small geographical area near the breeder for her/his mentoring and care in whelping and health matters. We are very connected to our dogs; however, we respect that dogs require relationships to be truly happy. The bond between dog and their primary family members is to create joy for all involved, recognizing the good chemistry it provides to the breeding environment. And when a dog is happy, so is his family!

The dogs are bred by conscious planning, skillful attention to health, exercise and great genes. Our dogs don’t have to compete with other dogs to get attention. They are the point of companionship and perhaps work in their family, and they are at peace . RoyalFrenchels are swiftly becoming a dog of choice for disability work of various kinds. We believe this enhances the developmental opportunity for offspring. The dam is relaxed at home and “happy” with life which transfers to her pups.

Some of our Primary Family Breeders are in the program because they feel it is an invaluable experience to share with their children. They find that they create wonderful memories while accomplishing goals together that they set from their own dreams. Tangible work ethics become established and ongoing learning becomes a way of life when implementing the program. But, most of all, the intimate relationship and bond between the two people goes beyond parent and child roles, entering the knowing of people, one to another. Nuances of each person are revealed that would otherwise be lost in time while living roles in busy lives.

We view the life with dogs as an adventure in learning and knowing about another species. This is accompanied by an attitude that somehow we are all equal and that we can live with the animal in a way that honors its true needs. This is the mark of true friendship for which this species is known, “Man’s Best Friend”. To be a friend we must want to know our friend unrelated to what we want from them. We must know what they truly need to live most excellently and prosper to ever really secure equanimity of care. Prospering a dog’s world with them is a blast! Reveal the Special Nature/Spirit/Personality of Every Dog. Pups are named at birth and treated as unique separate little lives. They are known by the family, cuddled and cared for by the family doing a set of very specific exercises and bonding rituals for human and dog contact. This set of activities involves exposure to sound, texture, physical experience and exploration, massage, other dogs, children and adults. We have found that the exposure to these elements while the pups are with and connected to their mother, their litter mates and their human friends, creates the stimulation that makes for a very stable personality and capacity for higher learning down the road. In short, pups are happier as they have more to “think” about and more to think with!

They have developed beyond the competitive regions of their genes and are about good healthy pack life — healthy family life. Then of course, we lead all our new families of RoyalFrenchels, French Bull Dogs, Italian Greyhounds to the Dog Whisperer’s site and to a few other websites more breed specific, where they can continue the development of their pup’s greatest life with ease and fun. It is really fun to live in a way that creates joy in something, especially you and your pet!

Genetics and Environment…. Designer Dogs are made through the union of Dams and Sires that are pedigree dogs, not “Mutts”. Yes, expensive pedigree AKC registered lines help to insure healthy outcomes when cross breeding different of dogs. Next, the Love and Attention inherent in the Primary Family Breeding™ program, along with the Enhancement Exercises to stimulate and train the pup, enhance and bring forward traits such as excellent trainability, ease with people and confident interest in their environment. This affects every part of pregnancy through to adult life. Mothers are given Vemma nutritional supplement and pro-biotic enzymes daily as well as organic red meat and the Orijen dog food from Canada. We believe that proper feeding is paramount to proper body chemistry. Attitudes and training are more easily transferred to their puppies. It simply makes for better evolution in raising healthy and happy dogs.

10 Wk Unique Neurological Development and Training Enhancement Exercises sets our dogs apart. They are massaged, exposed to sounds and movements that might otherwise prove uncomfortable, they are given exercise and exploration trials for 10 weeks and they are exposed to male and female children and adults and other dogs. They’re brains are stimulated with a full life relevant to canine and human relationship. They are spoken to with their own name and recognized by one person who gives them unique witness and play time 6 days a week. Life is good for these little pups.

The families keep records and go through their checklists to insure each pup is treated individually with every plan. Personality stories are recorded, pictures are taken and it is really fun to see! When you want to choose a puppy, we can suggest the perfect fit, because we know the dog, not because we have to thin the gene pool for anything else to show up! We have broadened the gene pool to fit you best and educated humans while raising dogs to come to full blossom with the intelligence they have.
